GONZALES — The City Council of Gonzales plans to introduce an ordinance creating an economic development district along Veterans Boulevard at a city council meeting on Monday evening. 

The proposed ordinance would grant the City Council governing authority over the potential district named the Veterans Boulevard Economic Development District of the City of Gonzales, State of Louisiana.

The meeting will take place on Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the Gonzales City Hall.
