BRUSLY — The Brusly Police Department is searching for a vehicle following a hit-and-run that left two juveniles on a golf cart injured at the intersection of West St. Francis Street and Elaine Street on Saturday.

According to officers, the golf cart driven by the juveniles, believed to be about 13 years old, was traveling down West St. Francis Street around 2:16 p.m. when it attempted to turn north onto Elaine Street.

At the same time, a silver Mercedes SUV attempted to pass the golf cart in a passing zone when the front driver's side of the golf cart was struck by the front passenger side of the SUV, causing the golf cart to overturn. 

The juveniles sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash. 

Officers are currently searching for a silver Mercedes SUV with no known license plate at this time. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Brusly Police Department.
