BATON ROUGE — Baton Rouge Police detectives asked the public for help identifying a person related to a shooting that occurred on Spanish Town Road. 

According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, the shooting occurred on Aug. 22 around 7:25 p.m. when a person was struck by gunfire while driving through a nearby intersection. They were later transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
