ST. FRANCISVILLE – The search for evidence related to the disappearances of Madison
Allen and Stephanie Hevia continue in West Feliciana Parish, Sheriff Brian Spillman announced on Friday.

Some 17 agencies have now spent eight days and nights searching a 15-acre property on Morris Road, Spillman says. To date, no human remains have been located on the property.

“We’ve conducted an exhaustive search of the property and buildings subject to the search warrant for 9745 Morris Rd,” Spillman says in a prepared statement. “During the course of the search, we’ve collected articles we feel are associated to the disappearances that will be helpful in this investigation going forward.”

Twenty-two WFPSO personnel have been joined by 110 personnel from partner agencies, amassing more than 2,500 man-hours.

Sheriff Spillman emphasizes that this remains a highly active, ongoing investigation.

“Although we aren’t able to provide the families with the answers they seek right now, that doesn’t mean this is over,” Spillman said.

On Monday, WBRZ reported that the search for the bodies of Stephanie Hevia and Madison Allen had expanded from a home along Morris Road in St. Francisville to a home along Ash Street in Zachary. The Zachary Police Department confirmed Wednesday that no evidence was found at the Ash Street residence and that the investigation will continue.
The West Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Office, last week, began an extensive search on a 15-acre Morris Road property in St. Francisville, hoping to find Allen and Hevia's bodies. Over the weekend, the sheriff's office identified several sites on this property that will need to be excavated.

Assisting WFPSO with the search are East Feliciana Sheriff’s Office, West Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, East Baton Rouge District Attorney’s Office, Zachary Police Department, Baton Rouge Police Department, Louisiana State Police, FBI, Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, LSU, Louisiana Search and Rescue, West Feliciana Fire District No. 1, Zachary Fire Department, West Feliciana Parish Government, and the City of Zachary.
