Candidates vying for seats on East Baton Rouge Parish School Board answer questions during forum
BATON ROUGE - Candidates for the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board spoke and answered questions from the community during a forum Monday evening.
Residents who are pushing for change shared what they want done to provide better education to students.
"I think that's where with this current school board, we just want to see more resources being allocated to these principals so they can continue to provide and create a strong foundation for these kids to learn," said Brandon Harris.
"They're not following up with schools, they're not following up with the communities. There needs to be more parental involvement," said Charlissa Pearl.
