BATON ROUGE — Two Louisiana artists are bringing an audio-visual experience to the Louisiana Art and Science Museum on Oct. 3. 

Sariah Sizemore and Taylor Matherne created the Honey Gold Experience to move audiences through tension, release, reflection and emotional connection, using layered music, immersive visuals and sound-healing elements, the museum said in a news release.  

Matherne is a musician who has years of experience spanning from blues to experimental music. Sizemore’s background spans music, immersive healing arts and more than two decades working in the technology industry. 

The show will be held in the Irene W. Pennington Planetarium, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 for adults, $20 for children, $30 for museum members and $15 for children of museum members.

Tickets can be purchased on the Honey Gold website. 

The Oct. 3 planetarium performance marks the project’s first presentation in a full-dome format.
