PONCHATOULA — The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a woman from Ponchatoula who hasn’t been seen since last month.

Loretta Wunstel, 61, usually stays at the Sun Outdoors RV campground in the Ponchatoula area. However, employees of the campground reported Tuesday that they haven’t seen her since Aug. 5. Follow-ups with relatives between now and then confirmed they had not had any contact with Loretta either.

Loretta has dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, and stands 5’2”. Wunstel is believed to be in a tan or brown 2016 Ford F-150 with Louisiana License Plate C40228. She has a history of mental illness and may be without her medications.
