BATON ROUGE — To kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The Foundation for Woman’s is bringing the community together for an evening of celebration, inspiration and art appreciation.

The organization hosted its 12th annual BUST Breast Cancer – Bra Art Fashion Show at the Crowne Plaza Executive Center on Thursday.

The event featured breast cancer survivors taking the runway, modeling one-of-a-kind, handcrafted bra designs. Local artists transformed the garments into wearable works of art, each design capturing the individual strength, resilience and unique journey of the survivor wearing it.

All proceeds raised directly fund the nonprofit Woman’s Hospital organization in its fight against cancer, supporting lifesaving mammograms, critical community outreach and essential support services for women across the region.
