AMITE — A portion of Gulino Road will be closed this Friday for road work.

Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said on Thursday that parish road crews will close Gulino Road approximately 730 feet from LA 1046 starting at 8 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 11.

Crews will be working in the area to replace a cross drain, and weather-permitting, the roadway will reopen at 2 p.m. that day.

Closure signs will be posted, and no through-traffic will be allowed in the construction zone while work is being completed.
