PINEVILLE — The Pineville Police Department says it has identified a suspect accused of stealing over $100 worth of crawfish tails from a supermarket.

In a social media post on Wednesday, authorities lightheartedly dubbed the incident "The Crawfish Caper," reporting that a woman allegedly attempted to conceal multiple bags of the seafood and leave the store.

Pineville Police did not release the suspect's name.
