PRAIRIEVILLE — Ascension Parish Transportation crews are currently performing maintenance work on Manchac Acres Road, completing asphalt overlay operations. 

The work is part of the ongoing efforts to maintain and improve parish infrastructure by providing smoother road surfaces and safer travel throughout the parish. 

Crews will stripe the roadway following the completion of the overlay. 

Motorists in the area are encouraged to use caution around crews and equipment as work continues. The road maintenance work is expected to be completed by the end of the week.
