BATON ROUGE — LSU volleyball players visited Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital to spend time with young patients.

The players visited with individual patients, signed volleyballs, gave away T-shirts and signed posters.

The visit gave the children something to focus on besides their medical challenges while also allowing them a moment to have the Tigers on their team.

For the players, the visit was a chance to step away from competition and volleyball and give back to their community.
