BATON ROUGE — The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advised that Jefferson Highway will have intermittent eastbound and westbound lane closures from Drusilla Lane to Airline Highway beginning on Nov. 15. 

The closures come as crews work to install an asphalt wearing course on the remaining westbound lane near the I-12 entrance ramp, with the entire roadway scheduled to be restriped back to a 5-lane section shortly after. 

The closure will take place during the day due to temperature restrictions, with the work planned to wrap up by the end of the year. 

The closures will take place from Nov. 15 to Jan. 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
