BATON ROUGE - LSU women's basketball dominated Texas Southern in their second game of the season, beating the visiting Tigers 131-22.

The 109-point win breaks the record for the second game in a row for the largest margin of victory in program history. It is also the largest margin of victory in Division I history.

Texas Southern's 13 points in the first quarter would be the most they scored in a quarter the entire game. LSU held them scoreless in the second and only 3 points in the third.

The Tigers were led in scoring by freshman Anna Minaeva who came off the bench for 21 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three blocks.

Also in this game, LSU honored national champion and the reigning WNBA Defensive Player of the Year, Angel Reese.

Reese was greeted with a roaring standing ovation and sat courtside with the team before being honored at center court at halftime.

LSU is back in action on Tuesday when they host McNeese at 7 p.m.
