DENHAM SPRINGS — A woman accused of stealing from businesses in Livingston Parish, including at Juban Crossing, has been arrested. 

Deputies said that Cherquelle Anthony is believed to be responsible for stealing from businesses at Juban Crossing, as well as multiple other thefts across the parish. She was stealing laundry detergent and other cleaning products, deputies added.

On Tuesday, she was found by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office and taken into custody.

On Thursday, she was moved to the Livingston Parish Detention Center and booked on two counts of organized retail theft and one count of theft. She was booked on a $1,500 bond.

"It is believed Anthony has conducted similar thefts in neighboring jurisdictions. Business leaders, you are encouraged to call your local law enforcement if you believe you were a victim of Anthony's criminal behavior," Sheriff Jason Ard said.
