BATON ROUGE - A 19-year-old died after he was dropped off at a hospital with gunshot wounds Tuesday afternoon. 

The Baton Rouge Police Department said an unknown person dropped off Julian Riley at a hospital shortly after 3:30 p.m. with multiple gunshot wounds. 

Riley was taken into surgery but died in the hospital. 

Police say they are still trying to determine where the shooting happened, who was involved and why Riley was shot.
