BATON ROUGE — BREC hosted a mountain bike clinic at Sharon Hills Park.

The program teaches beginners safety techniques and instructors provided all the equipment. Classes are open to anyone as young as 10 years old.

BREC hosts two of these events each year. An intermediate course is scheduled for Sept. 3 at the Comite River Conservation Area on Hooper Road.
