CHOCTAW — Boardwalk Louisiana Midstream Gas Transmission responded to an ethane gas release from a storage well at its Choctaw site on Monday morning. 

The Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office said that no offsite impacts are expected, and that the public does not need to take any action following the incident. 

No injuries have been reported.

Boardwalk mobilized its personnel and equipment to address the issue and is working with federal, state and local agencies.

By 10 a.m., the incident was cleared and the release repaired.
