Bernhard Capital Partners sells United WELD Holdings to One Equity Partners
BATON ROUGE — Bernhard Capital Partners announced the closing of the sale of United WELD Holdings to One Equity Partners as part of a multi-million-dollar expansion in Livingston Parish.
Bernhard, an infrastructure and services-focused private equity firm based in Arizona, sold EPIC's parent company, United WELD Holdings, to One Equity Partners in a deal whose financial terms have not yet been disclosed.
EPIC is one of the world's largest pure-play pipe fabrication platforms, serving critical infrastructure, energy and industrial markets globally. During Bernhard's ownership, the company expanded through the acquisition of Bend Tec, an industrial pipefitting manufacturer, broadening its offering for customers.
"EPIC has been an important part of Bernhard's story. What began as a greenfield investment has grown into a leading global pipe fabrication platform through the dedication of EPIC's team and our shared focus on quality and execution," said Mark Spender, Partner and Chief Investment Officer at Bernhard.
