BATON ROUGE — Baton Rouge-based APTIM has been selected as one of 10 prime contractors for a U.S. Department of the Navy contract vehicle worth up to $997 million for global fuel infrastructure work, the company has announced. 

The contract, administered by the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center, covers construction, maintenance, repair, inspection, testing, design and engineering services for pipelines, fuel storage tanks and associated facilities at Navy and Marine Corps locations worldwide.

APTIM is a five-time incumbent on the contract and brings more than 25 years of experience supporting the Navy through this program. The company has completed more than $2 billion in work and maintained more than 1,000 fuel storage tanks and systems under previous versions of the contract.

The five-year contract has a maximum cumulative value of $997 million across all 10 awardees, with work scheduled through August 2031.
