BATON ROUGE — Southern University, along with the Southern University Law Center, the SU Ag Center and the Southern University Laboratory School, will remain closed on Tuesday due to a campus power outage. 

According to the university, campuses will remain closed as crews continue to investigate the outage and work to restore service.

Limited meal services were available at the Mayberry and Dunn dining halls, officials added. 

By 9:30 a.m., power was being restored in student residential areas, with the Mayberry Dining Hall closing around this time.

Normal operations and classes are expected to resume on Wednesday.
