BATON ROUGE — Baton Rouge AI Week will bring a seven-day community learning experience with virtual and in-person events across the city later this month.

The Louisiana AI Literacy Association and training partner Geaux Learn Educational Solutions announced the event on Tuesday, which runs Oct. 25-31. Organizers say it is built for everyday people, including families, adults 55+, educators, entrepreneurs, nonprofit professionals, church and ministry teams, job seekers, professionals and anyone curious about using AI in real life.

"AI is already changing how we work, learn, communicate and solve everyday problems," said Amber Alexis, founder of the Louisiana AI Literacy Association and CEO of Geaux Learn Educational Solutions. "Baton Rouge AI Week gives people a welcoming place to learn how to actually use it with greater confidence."

The week opens from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Scotlandville Branch Library with ChatGPT & Chill: Baton Rouge AI Week Kickoff, presented with East Baton Rouge Parish Library. Sessions during the week will focus on AI for busy families, adults 55+, travel planning, nonprofit workflows, professional branding, entrepreneurship, church and ministry teams, creativity and other everyday uses of artificial intelligence.

The Future Is at the Table: An AI Dinner Experience on Oct. 29 is for AI-curious women and has seating for 25 guests with a separate $75 add-on. AI Cowork & Coffee for Entrepreneurs on Oct. 30 will give entrepreneurs and small business owners a working session to use AI for emails, content, planning, documents and other business work.

The week ends from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 31 at the Leon R. Tarver II Cultural & Heritage Center at Southern University with AI for Impact: Helping Louisiana Build Confidence in the Age of AI. The center is an AI Week partner and location sponsor.

A $50 All Access Pass covers eligible Baton Rouge AI Week experiences, including the AI for Impact Summit. Select premium experiences, including the AI Dinner Experience and the optional summit lunch add-on, require a separate purchase and registration is available at BatonRougeAIWeek.com.
