ADDIS — AT&T has opened a Connected Learning Center at the Dow Westside YMCA in Addis, providing access to high-speed internet, computers and digital learning resources. 

To support the center's goal of helping residents overcome barriers to online participation, AT&T invested $50,000 into the YMCA for programming support. 

This is the second center of its kind in Louisiana and will offer high-speed AT&T Fiber internet and Dell computers, as well as AchieverySM, a free digital learning platform by AT&T, and free digital literacy courses in partnership with the Public Library Association. Tutoring and mentoring will also be provided at the center.

"Access to technology is essential for education, career development, and staying connected, and this new computer lab will help open doors for people of all ages. I appreciate AT&T's commitment and investment to Addis and the surrounding area. Together, we're creating more opportunities for students, families, and our community to learn, grow, and succeed."
