Six games into the season, the Tigers sit at 4-2 with an 0-2 record on the road; those losses came at top-10 Ole Miss and now Kentucky. But it really felt like LSU had every chance to get the win against the Wildcats
"We had all kinds of chances to close the game out, win the game and didn't do it," said Kiffin. "You let people hang around at night in the SEC, and that's going to happen."
With two losses, the season is by no means over, but things don't get easier for LSU moving forward. Three of the Tigers' next four games are at home, but all three are against currently ranked opponents.
TIGERS UPCOMING HOME SCHEDULE:
- 10/27 vs. No. 16 Mississippi State
- 11/7 vs. No. 6 Alabama
- 11/14 vs. No. 7 Texas

On Saturday, LSU returns to Tiger Stadium for an 11 a.m. matchup against the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Saturday's game is also LSU's fourth SEC matchup, with the Tigers 1-2 in SEC play during Lane Kiffin's inaugural season as head coach.
Kiffin is expected to share how the Tigers, including quarterback Sam Leavitt, plan to recover from the loss and secure their second SEC win after Monday's practice.
