FRIDAY NIGHT BLITZ GAME OF THE WEEK: Zachary completes second half comeback to beat Madison Prep

ZACHARY - The Zachary Broncos were shut out in the first half of their week three matchup against Madison Prep. However, they stormed back to complete the comeback 39-36.
The Chargers controlled the first half. After Madison Prep got a safety, Harlem Turner took the ensuing kick off inside the Bronco 10-yard line. The Chargers would score a few plays later for a 9-0 lead.
They'd extend that lead in the first quarter when Jacobe Shannon connected with Landon Johnson for a touchdown and 15-0 lead. The Chargers would take that lead into halftime, shutting out the Broncos in the first half.
Zachary stormed back in the final two quarters to not only catch up and overcome the 15-point deficit, but beat the Chargers 39-36.
Both teams now have a 1-2 record on the season.
