Two people wanted in Loranger shooting that hurt three
LORANGER - Arrest warrants have been issued for two people allegedly involved in a May triple shooting that happened in a Loranger mobile home park.
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office said Veronica Johnson, 50, and Jamarcus Johnson, 18, are both wanted for aggravated assault in the shooting that happened May 21 on North St. Charles Avenue off Loranger Road.
WBRZ previously reported two groups got into an argument in the park. Before guns were fired, people left their homes and tried to intervene during the fight. A 50-year-old woman, a 17-year-old boy and a 33-year-old woman were injured.
Deputies said the Johnsons brought the gun that was used in the shooting, but the person who fired it was shooting in self-defense and will not be charged.
