DONALDSONVILLE — The city of Donaldsonville hosted the Taste of Donaldsonville event, giving people a chance to sample food from local restaurants.

Thirty appetizers, entrees and desserts from local restaurants were available at the event, along with live music and raffle prizes.

All proceeds from the event went to the Donaldsonville Lions Club.
