Sacred Heart of Jesus School in Baton Rouge kicks off first full week of classes
BATON ROUGE — Catholic schools in Baton Rouge began the new school year on Monday, with Sacred Heart of Jesus School beginning its first full week of classes.
WBRZ's Abigail Whitam spoke to Sacred Heart of Jesus School Principal Sharon Jones and Director of Operations Mother Rosario Vega about the new school year.

"We've got a great faculty and staff here at Sacred Heart that are all just eager to get back," Jones said. "The building was way too quiet over the summer and being able to see all the smiles and laughter and walk out and get a hug is the best thing ever. We're so excited to have them back on campus."
