BATON ROUGE — The Old Governor’s Mansion is inviting Louisiana students to submit artwork for the second annual Art in the Mansion program.

All middle and high school students enrolled in art programs across the state can submit original artwork reflecting the governors who lived in the mansion, the mansion’s history or its architecture.

The Old Governor’s Mansion staff will judge the submissions based on artistic quality and historical accuracy. The top three entries in the middle and high school divisions will be displayed in the mansion.

Submissions may consist of paintings, drawings, sculptures or digital art. Artwork dimensions must be within 24 inches by 24 inches.

Students’ artwork must be submitted by mail or hand-delivered to the mansion by Oct. 19. The winners will be announced and notified on Nov. 2.
