BATON ROUGE - The holiday season is bringing people together with the spirit of giving in the Capital area.

Several community organizations are working to feed the community. See the list below for times and places to have a Thanksgiving meal:

Sit-Down Meals:
- Encounter Church at 12112 Florida Boulevard in Baton Rouge from 10 a.m - 12 p.m. 
- The Rustic Room in Denham Springs starting at 10:30 a.m. and running while supplies last
- Sunshine Park in St. Gabriel from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. 
- St. Vincent de Paul Dining Room in Baton Rouge from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Raising Cane’s River Center Exhibition Hall in Baton Rouge from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- McKinley High School Alumni Center in Baton Rouge 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Drive-Through Meal Distribution:
- Raising Cane’s River Center 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Meal Pick-Up (While Supplies Last):
- St. Gerard Catholic Church – Seelos Hall at 5249 Maple Street, begins at 11:00 a.m.
