National School Choice Week taking place next week at capitol region schools
BATON ROUGE - Nearly 100 schools in the Baton Rouge area will host events and activities later this month as part of the 16th National School Choice Week.
According to a new survey by the National School Choice Awareness Foundation, 60% of U.S. parents say they are likely to consider finding a new school for at least one of their children in 2026.
The nationally celebrated week begins on January 25th and highlights K-12 education options that are available to families, including public, charter, magnet, private and more learning environments.
Nationwide, more than 28,000 events and activities are being organized.
