Man killed in late-night shooting off Winbourne Avenue
BATON ROUGE — A man was shot and killed off Winbourne Avenue on Wednesday night, Baton Rouge Police said.
The shooting happened along Wayne Drive near Winbourne around 11:30 p.m. The coroner's office said Billy Smith, 47, was killed.
Baton Rouge Police are investigating the shooting. No additional information was immediately available.
