BATON ROUGE - LSU linebacker Whit Weeks has been listed as "doubtful" on LSU's initial availability report ahead of their matchup with Alabama.

Weeks was injured in the Tigers' win over Texas A&M in September. He suffered a fractured fibula in the game and had surgery days later.

Since that game, Weeks has been listed as "out" on every availability report. Being listed as "doubtful" is an upgrade, but does not guarantee Weeks will return to action this weekend.

His younger brother and fellow linebacker, Zach Weeks, was a new addition to the availability report as he was listed as "questionable."

Both LSU and Alabama will provide updated availability reports on Thursday, Friday and Saturday before kickoff.
