LPSO: Man arrested for 208 counts of child molestation, two counts of child rape
DENHAM SPRINGS - A man previously arrested for copper wire theft and animal sexual abuse was arrested on child rape charges, the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office said.
Todd Pearce, 42, was booked in July for seven counts of filming or possessing sexual abuse of an animal, one count of distribution of sexual abuse of an animal and two counts of organizing or participating in abuse.
Officials found pornographic images and videos containing the sexual abuse of an animal on his electronic device while investigating Pearce for allegedly stealing over 3,000 pounds of stolen copper wire belonging to AT&T.
Deputies said Thursday that they received a complaint involving rape and molestation of a juvenile complainant.

Officials identified Pearce as the suspect, and he was booked for two counts of first-degree rape and 208 counts of molestation of a juvenile.
