HAMMOND - Think you've got what it takes to be the United State turkey calling champion? Now's your chance!

Turkey callers from around the nation will be putting their skills to the test at this year's Louisiana State & US Open Turkey Calling Champions.

The competition is taking place at Southern Boyz Outdoor Store in Hammond June 19 through 21.

Whether you'd like to participate or just watch, there is something for you. There will be a gun raffle, live music, banquets and food.

On Saturday, Southern Boyz will host its first annual cookoff to benefit TARC, a non-profit organization that benefits children and adults with disabilities.
