Livingston Parish convicted felon federally indicted for having stolen gun
BATON ROUGE - A Livingston Parish man with a prior felony conviction was indicted by a grand jury for having a stolen gun.
U.S. Attorney Kurt Wall's office said a grand jury indicted 46-year-old Wendell McCarroll, of Albany, for being a felon in possession of a stolen firearm.
In December 2025, McCarroll was reportedly arrested with a pistol that "he knew to be stolen."

McCarroll pleaded not guilty, but is being held in federal custody during court proceedings. His next court date is in November.
