BATON ROUGE — The Family Resource Group Foundation's annual Sock It To Me! sock drive starts Thursday and runs through mid-December. 

The 22nd annual drive aims to collect 52,000 pairs of new socks to support those in need. Individuals, families, businesses and organizations of all kinds are encouraged to participate, organizers said. 

The 2026 sock collection will run from Oct. 1 through Dec. 11. Socks will be distributed to community outreach partners throughout the holiday season.
