Eight Baton Rouge Magnet High students earn perfect scores on the ACT
BATON ROUGE — Eight Baton Rouge Magnet High School students received a perfect score on the ACT during the 2025-26 testing year, according to officials from EBR Schools.
The perfect score of 36 is achieved by only about 3,000 of the 1.4 million students who take the ACT nationwide each year, according to the ACT National Profile Report.
"Scoring a 36 is an extraordinary feat that speaks volumes about their relentless dedication, intellectual curiosity, and hard work," said Baton Rouge High Principal Nanette McCann. "This accomplishment not only highlights their individual academic excellence but also reflects the exceptional culture of learning and support fostered by our dedicated faculty and families."

The scholars who earned perfect scores include Margaret Kantrow, Abigail Qi, Leo Schoegl, Jacob Smith, and Elizabeth Xu of the Class of 2027, along with Adhrit Maiti, Mary Pham and Gracen Sheperd of the Class of 2028.
