ZACHARY — Crews in Zachary are currently working to restore power along Highway 19 after a large truck pulled down several power lines.

Zachary officials said the incident resulted in four broken electrical poles between Church Street and Kennedy Drive, leading to a power outage at both ALDI and Planet Fitness. 

As Entergy and city crews work to restore service, drivers in the area should use caution or seek an alternate route.
