BATON ROUGE — Baton Rouge General President and CEO Edgardo Tenreiro has been named the chair of the Louisiana Hospital Association Board of Trustees.

In late July, Tenreiro began his one-year term. 

As chair, Tenreiro will work alongside others from across the state to advocate for Louisiana hospitals and support efforts to improve healthcare.

Tenreiro is also a member of various boards, including the Baton Rouge Area Chamber, Baton Rouge Health District and Louisiana Independent Hospital Network Coalition, and previously served as treasurer and then chair-elect of LHA.
