BATON ROUGE — Baton Rouge firefighters responded to a house fire at the corner of Lobdell Boulevard and Goodwood Boulevard on Monday evening.  

A Baton Rouge Fire Department spokesperson said just before 7 p.m. that several units were working to put the flames out.

No injuries were reported. Firefighters found one cat inside and gave it oxygen. 

The cause of the fire had not yet been determined at the time of this article.
