Baton Rouge chapter of 100 Black Women hosting tailgate to promote Breast Cancer awareness
BATON ROUGE - The National Coalition of 100 Black Women-Metro Baton Rouge Chapter will host a tailgate at the Southern University football game against Bethune-Cookman on Saturday.
The main goal is to honor and advocate for Breast Cancer Awareness; the theme is "Kicking Breast Cancer to the Sidelines."
The tailgate will be in Corporate Circle near the fieldhouse from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Organizers say the event brings together education, advocacy and fellowship, providing an opportunity to uplift the community and support health equity in a fun, casual setting.
