BATON ROUGE - The undergraduate ceremony for Southern University was held Friday at the F.G. Clark Activity Center.
It follows yesterday's event for master's and doctoral degrees.
More than 500 graduates received their diplomas over the two days.
The Chief Student Marshal for the ceremony, Brandon Scott, graduated as a criminal justice major with a 3.9 GPA.
"... coming here to major in Criminal Justice, it really opened the doors for me to pursue different occupations," Scott said. "I would just like to personally thank the Criminal Justice Department for allowing me to come to their program and allowing me to show what I can bring to the table."
