BATON ROUGE — The Southern University Ag Center hosted a Drone Part 107 Test Preparation Certification Training on Monday at the M.A. Edmound Multi-Purpose Building along Scenic Highway.
The four- day training was designed for people who are interested in using drones for agriculture, research and business applications.
Participants at the training learned the fundamentals of drone operations, FAA Part 107 regulations, airspace classifications, weather effects on drones and safety protocols.
