Prairieville 'Live Like Allie' fundraiser honors LSU student, helps families impacted by violent crime

PRAIRIEVILLE — Walk-On's Sports Bar is hosting its annual "Live Like Allie" fundraiser today.
Ten percent of all sales will go to the Live Like Allie Scholarship Foundation. The event runs until 11 p.m.
The foundation was created to honor Allie Rice, a 21-year-old LSU student who was shot and killed while waiting for a train to pass on Government Street in September 2022.
Nearly five years after her killing, her killer still has not been found. Her family says they want to use her memory to help other families impacted by violent crime.
