BRFD working fire on Robertson Avenue

BATON ROUGE — The Baton Rouge Fire Department is currently working a fire on Robertson Avenue near Hollywood Street.
Officials said the fire occurred around 3:37 p.m. on Friday. When they arrived, flames were visible from a second-floor window.
BRFD said that the damage was limited to the second-floor room where the fire originated. Investigators determined the fire resulted from an overloaded power strip, with multiple power strips connected to a single electrical receptacle.
No injuries resulted from the fire.
