BATON ROUGE — A 25-year-old meat market employee was killed in a botched robbery-turned-shooting along Beechwood Drive, authorities told WBRZ on Thursday.
Abdallahi Baba was shot at City Town Meat Market #3 near the corner of Beechwood Drive and Sycamore Street around 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner's Office said.
The meat market was formerly known as Ragusa's Meat Market.
