2une In Previews: Springfield's first Hungarian Harvest Festival happening this weekend

SPRINGFIELD - Springfield is hosting its first Hungarian Harvest Festival this weekend at Fayard Field.
The three-day event begins Friday, Sept. 25, and runs through Sunday, Sept. 27. The festival will feature traditional Hungarian dancing, live music from local entertainers, vendors and authentic Hungarian foods and pastries.
The festival opens Friday with a family night from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Events on Saturday run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sunday's program wraps things up from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The area was first settled by Hungarian immigrants more than a century ago.
