2 people hospitalized after pickup truck overturns along Frenchtown Road in Central

CENTRAL — A truck overturned along Frenchtown Road in Central overnight on Sunday.
According to Central Fire Department officials, all five of the department's stations, as well as St. George Fire Department rescue, responded to find the truck overturned in a canal between Country and Planchet roads.
After a "lengthy extrication" by the fire department, Baton Rouge EMS took the two occupants of the car to the hospital, where one of them was treated for critical injuries.
