BAYOU L'OURSE — U.S. 90 eastbound and westbound will both be reduced to one lane Tuesday as crews work to conduct routine bridge inspections in Assumption Parish.

The closures will be done between mile markers 182 and 185 near the Assumption-St. Mary parish line. 

The eastbound bridge will be reduced to one lane from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., while the westbound bridge will be reduced to one lane from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

The road will be open to regular traffic with a 16-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone, Department of Transportation and Development officials said.
